The Probe

Neat! I have now added into The Probe the ability to load custom made levels (created by myself or other users), or just to play the main game

I have also now added in the ability to include all the main game levels (when finished) in a “pack file” internally so they are kept tidily in one place…nice

I will upload the new version of The Probe very soon…stay tuned!

Hi all,
I have updated the game’s HUD (includes health and the current TLS receiver charge). The crystals have also had an upgrade with a lovely new look (much nicer I think).

I have also added a new element, a Sentry object (see the latest screen-shot in the gallery for the sentry in action).

The Sentry will zap the player’s probe with an energy discharge if it gets hit by the scanning beam, causing damage. If the probe’s health drops to 0%, it is bye-bye time!

I haven’t uploaded this version quite yet though, but I am pleased with the results

Thanks to Patrick, also known by the name Major-Davis (http://major-davis.deviantart.com/), I now have a tune I am using for my main menu screens, but as I don’t actually have any menus yet, it is my game music instead for now! LOL
